The previous manganese steel side blade was worn out after one month in the iron ore mine, but it was replaced by this HARDOX500 + high chromium cast iron, and the two sides of the Carter 320 D bucket lasted for half a year. After welding the test machine, the bucket opened and closed smoothly, and the side plate did not crack after three months, which was much better than the last universal side blade, which cracked in less than a month after welding.
Last month, when the concrete block was removed, the side blade broke a small hole. After contacting the manufacturer, a new one was sent in 3 days, saying that it would be replaced free of charge within the 6-month warranty period. The side blade of this Volvo EC210 is quite stable now, hard enough and not easy to break, which is more reliable than the miscellaneous brands bought before.
